Kids In Doodles #9 - Drink Pig and Mama & Dada

I know that my entry is a day late but I just don't want to miss a single post for this meme. I tried not to be late next time ehem. (bluff)

My lambchop always have her own ways of making me laugh. One day I was sitting in front of the computer while observing this two. Justine was holding this little piggy stuff and a sippy cup of juice. She put the straw to the pig and said "drink pig", that was really cute and funny.

After we move we always stayed outback instead of going somewhere. Joe drew this sketch and jake said the fat one was Mama and the skinny one was Dada. I said why Mama is fat. he just said it's Mama. I drew a sexy sketch and he said it's Mommy and the fat one was still Mama waa.

This is their breakfast routine, got up in the morning and asks for cereal for breakfast.

Friday Flashback Photo - Baby Picture and Old Places

2011 Picture
This is the latest picture of J&J at one of the bed room in our new home.

2009 Picture.

It was summer of 2009 when we moved to a house from renting a one bedroom apartment. Then Justine was born on that same year.

2008 picture

Jake was 6 months old when we moved to a one bed room apartment in Hobart. We did not stay too long in that apartment because aside from it's small it's also had so many problems.

2007 - 2008

Jake was still four days old in this picture. We lived in a single room studio type apartment. It was too small for both of us so when Jake arrived we had to move to a bigger place. What you see in the picture is pretty much the whole place. We always bumped our foot to a lot of things in this apartment because it was too small. Jake was such a good baby because at five months old he was contented with simple things then. Different today that simple things is not enough for Jake and Justine.

Old and New Backyard

Last weekend, we went to the old house to clean and mow the grass. We don't have to worry about mowing the grass because our new place don't have grasses to mow. We had lawn mower, although it was not the quality brand like toro zero turn mowers but I would say still a good mower. My husband gave the mower to our next door neighbor after he mowed the grass last weekend. I sure will miss the birds in our backyard. We're done with the house cleaning in that old house and now we can focus cleaning the walls in our new place. We take things one at a time. After the general cleaning we turned over the key to the management. My husband and I have been thinking of what toys we can buy for the kids that they can play in our back yard. The second photo above is our new back yard and the kids love it. They can go out and play with their barefoot.

Kids In Doodles #8 - Fave Snacks

Dum-dum pop is one of their favorite snacks/candy to munch on. They don't lick the pop but they chew it. I have to hide it so they won't keep asking for it and everyday they can finish 5-to 10 pop . We always have a stock of lollipop that we give to them when we travel and reward as well. One day we went to Target, and Jake a saw a stick pop. They couldn't bite on it because it was too hard. It was that kind of pop that made this girl's mouth blue.

Pringles is one of my favorite chips to snack on. But look how she possessively hold the pringles. As soon as she spotted me with this pringles in my hand she took it and did not bother to give it back to me.

My vampire boy. He is into fruits lately and one afternoon I fell asleep in the couch and forgot that i have a buckaroo who is a spider man and knows how to open the fridge. I woke up and saw Jake eating half of the water melon in the floor. He was like vampire eating this big piece of red watermelon. He also love peach. He climbed up into our kitchen counter and grabbed this not ripe peach.

This picture was taken last month when we went to the bigger playground by the park. An ice cream truck passed by and it was so hot so might as well get some treat. We bought three ice cream bar one for Joe, me and Jake. I was gonna share my ice cream bar with Justine but the little Miss wanted the ice cream all to herself.

Friday Flashback Photo - Old Family Pictures

TGIF! Any plans for the weekend? Anyway, time to post some ancient picture here for Friday Flashback. My entry is late again as usual because we were busy all day cleaning the old place before we ill turn over the key to the management.

Meanwhile, my entry is a picture of my mother, siblings, cousins, aunt and uncle. The one with the baby was my mother and the girl she was carrying with was my sister that lives right now in Vegas.
This is my gorgeous kikay. Does she look like my sister?
An old picture of my older brother, my mom, sister and me. I don't know how old I was in this picture but it looked like I was between two or three years young.
My older brother and me of course.
My brother and I had 17 months age gap same thing with my children. I've seen my children how they fight, and tease each other and the sibling rivalry still there until now. They reminded me of me and my older brother when we fight and teased each other then.

She Did It In the Potty

I said to myself before that as soon as we move in to our new house, i'm gonna start potty train these two monkeys. So, last week, i asked Justine if she wants to sit on the potty and she said yes so I let her sat on the potty.
After few minutes she said she pooped. I was deligheted that she did it with out forcing her. She just spent 15 minutes sitting on top of the toilet bowl and poof!!! There's the poop. The next day I let both of them sit on the top of the potty whether they want to poop or not. Jake sat for a while and got off the potty, while upstairs was the little girl sitting on top of the toilet bowl and she did it again. I was pleased with what she did, it's amazing.

I did it again the next day but to my dismay they both did not go. As soon as I put the pull ups in they went Doo-doo. I was disappointed. Now I'm still working on it and it's very tiring. Jake doesn't want to go in the potty, he pretends to sit for a few minutes and get off as soon as I turn my back. Justine also have been doing the same, getting off the potty as soon as i turn my back away from the bathroom. I have to watch them, and the problem is if I'm around they never do it. The buckaroo haven't done it yet to this toilet and I don't know when he is going to be ready.

I wonder when this potty train will leave the station! choo choo chugga chugga

Kids In Doodles #7 - Moving and Splashing

Pardon me for this super duper late entry for K.I.D. I don't care if I'm late, the linky is still open so might as well do my piece as i do not want to miss single entry for this meme, yet. I still have some few unpacking chores to do but it can wait.

Anyway, during the move this tw rugrats always on the way messing up with lots of things. When hubby disconnected the cable and internet, the girl played with the keyboard and read every single letters in it. Yes, she know all the letters in the alphabet already including the hard one that she refuse to day before like W, L and F. These are the letters that she knows but she cannot articulately say out loud.

When the moving was almost done, me and the kids walked to the new house. The kids had so much fun playing with the water. All our stuff wasn't unpacked yet so it's hard to pull out the kikay's swim suit and the diaper was the closest thing i could grabbed. It's for swimming anyway.

The next day we put the hose again and play with this two. The water was freezing cold but they enjoyed playing with it.
Every afternoon we spend most of our time in the back yard. Yesterday, Justine threw a major major tantrum fit because i took her inside. She misbehaved outside so i took him in, and she wasn't happy about it.

Gender Neutral Nursery

For some parents, part of expecting a baby is being surprised when the big day finally arrives. Some parents simply do not want to know which gender their baby is going to be. Other parents are planning on having more than one baby back to back, so they simply want something that is gender neutral so that it will work for both babies, no matter which gender they are.

Whatever the reason for not knowing your baby’s gender ahead of time, there are plenty of wonderful options in gender neutral nursery décor.

Bedding Options

Upscale baby bedding is the perfect way to make sure that what you buy will last. Parents who are planning multiple children will want something that may cost a little bit more up front but that will take the beatings inflected on it by several children.

The most important thing to think about when it comes to neutral baby bedding is the type of material it is made from. Always look for organic cotton, wool, or silk because it will not only last a long time, but also be safer for your baby’s skin. Synthetic materials are made from harmful chemicals that you really shouldn’t expose your baby to.

Nursery Themes and Colors

Of course planning a nursery theme is always an important part of getting ready for a baby, and the best way to make sure that what you have will work for a baby of either gender is to choose a theme that does not necessarily give away a gender. For example, Winnie the Pooh would work well for either a boy or a girl, but a theme involving the Disney Princesses probably would only work for a girl. Just think about whether you would feel strange if your baby of either gender had a room with that theme, and go from there. When in doubt, choose a pattern with bold colors

When it comes to colors, traditionally the color for a gender-neutral nursery was yellow. However, that has all changed, and now many colors are acceptable for babies of either gender. Pastel green, yellow, and even blue are perfect colors for either boys or girls. Just think in terms of pastel colors, and you simply can’t go wrong on this topic. Some parents are even opting for earth tones, which create a more modern, yet gender neutral décor for the nursery.

Furniture Options

One of the easiest ways to make sure that your nursery is gender neutral is with the type of furniture you use. Right now deep wood colors are definitely in, so opt for any natural wood colors and avoid painted furniture, especially if it is painted a color that is usually reserved for either boys or girls.
